Original Post: I'm curious as to the views of the elven high court. Is there an elvish language that is used here? at least for names and such? I know that the Irekei have a language, but i haven't seen anything regarding elvish. If you don't mind my asking, where are people getting names? And names of guilds, "Ias Kiran a'Llyra?", "Lokri", "Cil'Gareth". Do these names have meaning or are they simply your own creations?

Answer: Actually, I must admit that as far as naming goes, I tend to start with Tolkien's linguistic elements, and then change vowels or consonants to give the word the right emotional slant. Dar Khelegur, Twathedelion, and a lot of the other words were arrived at in just that way.

Yeah - our Elves are definitely not his elves. Feanor and his grumpy kin in the Silmarillion are about as close as we get...
