Lore: Lore Dead in Game?

Lore Dead in Game?

Go ask Vorgen Lok'ri if the lore is dead.

I wish the Event Team had the manpower to be everywhere all the time. Someday maybe we will. The Event Team is shifting gears - we intend to balance two kinds of events:

1) more general events, that involve whoever shows up (the recent spate of uppity mobs in the high density camps are a perfect example)

2) DEEP events, targeted to a specific Guild, that involve lots of RP, and challenges beyond simply bashing things and taking their loot. Lok'ri's Birthright Regained was a prototype. We were very pleased with the results.

Walking the lore path isn't easy. We're hoping future refinements to the system may make it easier. Some of you guys are building communities. Keep at it! Attract our attention, and we'll seek you out.

As for the ninja raid marauders, the Lore pretty explicitly states that life is rough in the Age of Strife.

I will remind you that alliances between ancient enemies to face a dire threat to everyone are actually part of the lore - never forget, Druids, Elves, and the most zealous Humans all fought Chaos side by side. Some of the alliances we've encountered during events have raised our eyebrows - you can bet that some of our future deep events will involve making big lore-intensive guilds examine their choices, as the Lok'ri had to.

A dedicated RP server is a wonderful idea, but what makes you think the PKs wouldn't flood it too?
