Malakeen, Dervish Lord

Begone! These sands are ours! They belong to us, the Prekalar'akt, shrewdest of the Irekei. We were led here, to theses ancient sands, by Qualisati himself, the Burned Prophet who first led the fathers of our race into the deserts, to behold the glory of Kryqho'khalin and the power of wrath!

Long ago the Kor'uus'akarim, the Ancient Ones who first felt the touch of Khalikryst, they dwelt here and sang praises to the Dragon and the Phoenix. The raised no tents, they built cities, great white cities of stone and blood! All gone now, swept away by the fir'khanim of Ardan, who drove them away and built new cities of their own, trying to steal the glories that Kryqho'khalin had given the Irekei alone. They sought the hidden chambers beneath the ancient temples and pyramids, but they never found them. In time the deserts slew them, as they slay all who are unworthy. And so the deserts waited.

Now we have returned. Qualisati led my clan here, and gave us the gift of his mighty testing. Three tests we endured, and then he showed us this ancient valley, and we looked upon the ancient temples of our forgotten ancestors. He taught us the songs that would open the hidden chambers and awaken the Sleeper, and now our clan learns the greatest secrets of fire and power from the lips of a reborn Kor'uus'akar.

Many foes have come to these sands: more fir'khanim of the sands and of the hated temple, and other things, Giants who serve Chaos and foolish Men who worship the Sun. They may worship the empty hall of Khalikryst all they like, it shall not save them from our blades. If your blood burns, drive these invaders out, so that the Irekei may reclaim their destiny! If not, embrace your death and trouble the Irekei no more.

Speak more of Khalisati

When Kryqho'khalin created the Sun in his wrath, there was one among the Hateful Ones, the first children of the Meddling Gods who call themselves Elves, who looked upon the Terror of Terrors and knew not fear. He had been born Darivastor, but afterward he renounced his name. He saw the power and the glory of the Destroyer, and saw a thing greater than all the Gods. It was he who led our ancestors, the Unfinished Ones, into the deserts, and was the first father of our race. He went deep into the earth, to commune with dreaming Dragon, and bathed himself in the Terror's burning blood, so that his unworthy flesh would melt away. Then Darivastor truly died, and Qualisati the Burned Prophet was born.

Qualisati was tricked and betrayed by the schemes and devices of the Jo'rikim, the living stones who dwell below and have always toiled to keep the Terror of Terrors imprisoned. So the Burned Prophet was trapped below for many long ages, and did not witness the glorious birth of the Irekei, when Khalikryst the Phoenix finished the great work. But he heard the dreams of the sleeping Dragon, and learned much of what was and what is to come. Finally he escaped from his prison, and mere months ago he came to the Virakt'al of his children's children's children. He led the clans in many tests, but to the Prekalar'akt he gave the greatest gift: dominion over these sands, where the Ancient One lives again and can teach us how to reclaim all that we have lost.
