Ah... I beg your pardon.

You had me at "fellow errant PKers."

I hadn't realized that your horde of allies (among which numbered several Elves - I'm sure you've worked out your differences in character, though) was indeed coming to roleplay with us. Perhpas a battle cry or two might have given us some warning.

And if you were there to aid the fell lord of the dead, why didn't you engage him in conversation? He answered many tells over the course of the event, but none of them came from Maligno. I also find it odd that you waited to make your move until after your would-be champion was dead, and the rewards were changing hands.

We looked, and we didn't see a new faction coming to improve the plot. We saw a gang of errant marauders coming to spoil the event. The Elvish wizards engaded accordingly.

If we were a little quick on the trigger, again, I apologize. I hope it offers some consolation that we dealt with you about as amiably as we could have. And you did get some measure of revenge, as I recall. The wizards might have killed the lot of you, would that have been preferable?

I suppose it might have. You did want to side with the Lord of the Dead...
